These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Vega8 ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of the Service

Vega8 provides AI-powered tools that generate STL files, previews, and related outputs based on images and other user-provided inputs.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. By using Vega8, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.

4. User Content

You are responsible for all content you upload, submit, or generate through the Service.

You represent that you own the necessary rights or have permission to use the content you upload and to request the outputs generated from it.

You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, harmful, or otherwise violates applicable law.

5. Usage

The Service allows you to generate preview designs and download STL files for cookie cutters based on your uploaded images.

Preview generation is free within usage limits. STL downloads require credits.

6. Generated Outputs

The Service uses automated and AI-based processes. Generated results may vary and are not guaranteed to be accurate, error-free, manufacturable, or fit for any particular purpose.

You are responsible for reviewing all generated outputs, including STL files, before manufacturing, printing, selling, or otherwise using them.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, users may use generated files to produce and sell physical products, but may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the digital STL files themselves, or claim the STL file as your own digital product.

7. Credits and Payments

Vega8 may use a credit-based system. Credits are required for certain generations and features.

Credits may be purchased through Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to pay the listed price at checkout.

Unless otherwise required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable once delivered to your account.

Promotional or welcome credits may be granted at our discretion and may have different conditions than purchased credits.

Credits are used only for STL downloads.

  • Portrait Cutter STL download: 20 credits.
  • Image Cutter STL download: 10 credits.
  • Credits are deducted only once per generation.
  • Re-downloading the same STL file does not require additional credits.

8. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse or interfere with the Service.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or infrastructure.
  • Upload unlawful or infringing content.
  • Use the Service to violate intellectual property rights.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform.
  • Bypass payment, credit, or usage controls.

9. Intellectual Property

All generated designs are based on proprietary models trained on original artwork.

The underlying system, model, and design methodology remain the intellectual property of the creator.

Vega8 and its related software, branding, interface, and underlying systems remain the property of their respective owners.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Service or its technology to you.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the platform, or used the Service in a harmful or unlawful way.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific results, or that outputs will meet your expectations or business needs.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vega8 shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, business interruption, loss of data, or issues arising from reliance on generated outputs.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Vega8 in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws applicable to the operator of Vega8, without regard to conflict of law principles.
